I would like this "operations" type feature added for the following scenario: I want to move a db from one replica set to another by fsync_lock, copy db files, fsync_unlock, move db files to other mongod instance, now attach the db files to the running mongod without having to stop it. |

as long as you've never used that db name before, you can do that today |
