We are upgrading our 3 node mongoDB from 3.4 to 3.6. We stopped the services and updated the packages using the package manager. sudo yum install -y mongodb-enterprise-3.6.13 mongodb-enterprise-server-3.6.13 mongodb-enterprise-shell-3.6.13 mongodb-enterprise-mongos-3.6.13 mongodb-enterprise-tools-3.6.13 The packages got updated. But mongoDB fails to start. -sh-4.1$ sudo /sbin/service mongod start |

Please close the issue as we figured out the issue and it was resolved after removing the below parameters from mongod.conf. These are deprecated since 3.2 version. http: |
