 Description

Add support for the now-released Debian 10 "buster".  It may work with "stretch" backports packages in the interim, but should be updated with buster packages as soon as reasonable.

After upgrading from Debian 9 to Debian 10, MongoDB is not working and is
removed from the system.
A note like "Do not upgrade to Debian 10" can avoid devastating
effects for some sysadmins.

This ticket is actually a duplicate of SERVER-37768 so I will close this one. Please follow SERVER-37768 for updates.

ssasa, the page you linked says at the top:

MongoDB only provides packages for 64-bit builds of Debian 8 and 9.

If you think that is not already sufficient, please let us know.

Until this issue is resolved it would be good to add a warning notice on https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-debian/ not to upgrade to Debian 10 as otherwise people that do that will be in big trouble where only option is to reinstall the entire server.

Thanks for the request, Chad. I've forwarded this on to our Build team to respond.
