Generally, the SERVER project is for bugs and feature suggestions for the MongoDB server. Unless you have reason to suspect any behavior you are seeing is the result of a bug, I encourage you to ask our community by posting on the mongodb-user group or on Stack Overflow with the mongodb tag.

That said, I think a 203/EXEC exit status implies a problem locating a file or directory. Can you verify that /opt/app/data/mongodb/mongod/bin is correct? The mongod executable is typically located at <install path>/bin/mongod.
