 Description

Currently $addFields stage uses its own parser and validator to parse a raw BSON projection. In SERVER-42988 we added support for the aggregate-style syntax in the new projection parser, meaning that it can now be used to not only parse a $project specification, but also $addFields. Once the new parser is plugged into $addFields, the old parse() method can be removed.

As far as we can tell this was done at some point. Closing this as "Gone Away" - please re-open if you notice it is not done.
