Per max.hirschhorn's comment, it may be worth considering switching from generating and updating the physical yaml files to adding the ability to set linear_chain=true and numNodes through the resmoke command line. |

From a "user story" perspective, the goal of this ticket should be to make it possible for an engineer using Evergreen to not need to downloaded the generated YAML suite file in order to (effectively) run the same Evergreen task that was generated. |
