 Description

With SERVER-24860 an aggregation query can skip the aggregation layer, and execute the entire computation using a query.

Such query will still be logged as an aggregation, a flag that indicates that the aggregation used the query path would be useful for possible investigation.

Hi renato.riccio, thank you for your request. After triaging, the team has decided that the codepath which is selected to execute the aggregation is an implementation detail that does not need to be logged.

If you have a compelling reason for that info to be logged, please re-open this request and leave a comment with an explanation. Thank you!
