| Description |
|
As part of the MSI installer, users are able to set the service name. However, changing this has no effect on the name of the service that is created. The name of the created service is always "MongoDB" with the display name "MongoDB Server". |

Thanks for reporting this! I can confirm that I also can't set the Service name using the latest MSI. I'll forward this to the appropriate team. |

Hi henry.bettany@intoware.com, the CXX project is for the MongoDB C++ driver. I believe this is intended for the MongoDB server, so I'm moving this to SERVER. |
