arun.banala and nicholas.zolnierz it'll be interesting to test what happens when we're dealing with a sharded collection. I suspect we'll get 'usedDisk' in some of the log lines associated with the operation, but it'll be hard for that to propagate all the way back up the chain. If that's the case, I suggest we add an open question to the design about whether it's pursuing a better solution.
