 Description

Can detect this by isatty(0) and non-existence of ~/.mongorc.js if we create that file on first use.

We can use this message to point first-time users to help() or tutorial(SERVER-4631), along with the documentation and the user group. If we stick a version number in .mongorc.js we can also print a "What's new" message after upgrades using a similar framework.

Message: SERVER-4632 Welcome message displayed on first run of mongo

Display a welcome message if .mongorc.js is
not present. Direct users to help, the doc
website, and the google group. Write
an empty .mongorc.js so that the
message isn't displayed again.

I like this idea a lot. We deal so much with people who are sort of experts in using MongoDB that we may not appreciate that everyone starts out not quite sure how it all works. A bit of attention to getting newbies going would go a long way, I think.
