Snapshot reads are not supported on eMRC=false variants. As a result, we use the $_internalReadAtClusterTime logic in the dbHash background hook when eMRC=false instead of snapshot reads here. We cannot fully remove the $_internalReadAtClusterTime field from dbHash until the eMRC=false variant is discontinued. As a result, lingzhi.deng and I have discussed and we will move this ticket into the Remove Support for enableMajorityReadConcern:false epic. |
