| Description |

I thought we had opened a bug for this but don't see one; the splitVector command which is used for Hadoop support is not currently exposed in Mongos. This means for Hadoop one can only split up collections which are sharded, splitting unsharded collections through mongos is completely unavailable for Hadoop. If we can get splitVector exposed in mongos this unifies our behavioral story with the Hadoop driver. |
