 Description

We still have a small handful of polyfills in the form of classes, macros, and functions.

There are a number of headers in stdx that declare these including:

  • basic.h
  • compiler.h
  • endian.h
  • pause.h

There are also AtomicWord and SecureRandom which provide concepts which still vary by platform.

These polyfills should be documented in docs/platform.md.

This is intended to be abstract documentation, describe relationships and state transitions not code in common language.
