| Description |

I find myself digging for exactly how the test is being run and it would be easier if the very top of the test logs made it clear. |

Moving this ticket to the Backlog and removing the "Backlog" fixVersion as per our latest policy for using fixVersions. |

We had planned on doing this as part of the one-click db-contributors project but the project ended up not touching the suite definition interface . We have added a related ticket |

We discussed this in our Story Pointing session and we think this would be a good ticket to include as part of the Productize Resmoke project. There will be a better interface between Resmoke and all of its callers when we get working on that project. |

Sending over to STM since they are more familiar with resmoke internals. |

Yes that is what I'm thinking, and I'm happy for it to get logged outside of burn_in_tests as well. |

judah.schvimer Are you thinking when the test execution starts (so it will be at the top of the test log) we print out the test suite that is being used? And if that is the case, do you think it would be alright to do that regardless of whether the test is running as part of burn_in_tests. At the point that log would start, we are likely executing somewhere is resmoke and the code doesn't really know if it is being run as part of burn_in or not. So if we only wanted to print it as part of resmoke, we would likely need to add some plumbing. CC: robert.guo Depending on the details, this might fit better with STM. |
