 Description

The RHEL6 repo is missing the following package:

  • mongodb-org-tools

This causes all attempts to install MongoDB on RHEL6 via yum to fail, as the core Community metapackage mongodb-org depends on mongodb-org-tools. See attachment missing-mongodb-org-tools-pkg-rhel6 for repro steps.

The RHEL7 repo is missing the following packages:

  • mongodb-org
  • mongodb-org-tools

This causes, well, everything to fail. I'm building a Centos7 VM so I can provide repro, but I'll submit this ticket now so you all can get started on putting out this fire. EDIT: added RHEL7 repro steps.

Hi, I can confirm that both RHEL6 and RHEL7 are now able to install MDB Community 4.4. Thanks for the quick work!

hi andrew.feierabend, i resubmitted the rhel6 and rhel7 publish_packages for community, and the RPMs showed up for x86_64.
