This isn't necessary, but will make code cleaner and our life easier. blake.oler is already creating one for the fetchTimestamp in a related ticket. The goal of this ticket is to create helpers similar to emplaceFetchTimestampIfExists - we are interested in simplifying the logic needed to emplace values for chained structs in resharding. Please investigate making helpers for the following: |
