| Description |

https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-os-x/ Follow the installation steps end-up with "mongodb Error: couldn't connect to server 127.0.0.1:27017" when run the command "mongo" Command "brew services start mongodb-community@4.4" status stated service is started, but actually service is not started and nothing in mongodb.log file.
And so many have the same issue and asking all over the internet, but no answer from mongoDB team, left everybody like a headless chicken.

The SERVER project is for bugs and feature suggestions for the MongoDB server. For this issue we'd like to encourage you to start by asking our community for help by posting on the MongoDB Developer Community Forums. Here's a couple of steps you can take to help you get started:
If the discussion there leads you to suspect a bug in the MongoDB server, then we'd want to discuss it here in the SERVER project. Kind regards,

Hi aependy@gmail.com, sorry to hear you are having trouble. This Jira project is only for tracking development and bugfixes for the MongoDB Database Tools (mongoimport, mongodump, etc.). So this isn't the best place to ask about installing the server. I will move this ticket to the SERVER Jira project - they might be able to help further. You could also post your question in the MongoDB Community Forum here: https://community.mongodb.com/. Additionally, if you have a MongoDB Enterprise Advanced subscription, you can file a ticket through the MongoDB Support Portal: https://support.mongodb.com/welcome. |
