It would be useful to include the client name and version in currentOp results. In most cases this would be a driver name and version. Though some apps may implement the wire protocol themselves. There are some known bad interactions with particular drivers and versions. One, for example, can leak connections. It can be useful to look at the list of connections and see that 90% come from some app using a known bad driver. |
