 Description

This would be useful for gathering metrics about the system when it's in read-only mode, specifically for queryable backups which is run in read-only mode, allowing us to have further insight into problematic executions.

attached metrics created with

./build/install/bin/mongod --queryableBackupMode --setParameter="diagnosticDataCollectionEnabled=true"

Comment by Gregory Wlodarek [ 09/Nov/20 ]

One approach for this could be to gather FTDC data regardless of the read-only setting unless theĀ

diagnosticDataCollectionEnabled: false

parameter is set.
