I think we can assume that, so this is low priority and doesn't need to block anything. That said, it wouldn't be much work to add an assertion to make sure these commands fail gracefully if SSL isn't enabled, so I'd like to do this if we have time at the end of the project. |

jack.mulrow, is this necessary, or can we just assume Atlas uses SSL? |
