 Description

The query throttle/limiting is used to limit the maximum query frequency and big query which used many resources of a server. It will contribute to prevent a rogue session (client side error) and a DoS attack from overloading the system. As far as I know, version 4.2 dose not support this feature. And if will be supported in the future?

Hi zaorangy@gmail.com, as edwin.zhou mentioned, we currently don't provide query throttling. However, we are actively looking into providing more guardrails for how queries can efficiently consume a server's resources, without overloading it. Thanks for your inquiry.

Hi zaorangy@gmail.com,

We currently do not have an implementation for query throttling in MongoDB.

Best,
Edwin
