 Description

When choosing and connecting to a donor host, it seems unnecessary to restart the entire main future chain if we run into a retryable error. Instead, we should retry the error within _createAndConnectClients().

We may be able to merge the two JS tests added in SERVER-52720 as part of this ticket too.
