| Description |
|
Developer machines with Xcode tend to auto-update xcode to latest, and we frequently have novel warnings or errors in the newer toolchain which break developer builds. We can light up a compile only builder on the new Xcode 12 enabled hosts and fix any issues, which should help ensure that local macOS developer builds remain working correctly. |

Updating the fixversion since branching activities occurred yesterday. This ticket will be in rc0 when it’s been triggered. For more active release information, please keep an eye on #server-release. Thank you! |

We could, but I don't think we particularly need to. It is much more important for the master branch. |
