When a $lookup has been pushed into the find() layer and an explain is run, we should include the plan for the right side in the explain output. |

ethan.zhang eric.cox when this project is complete, it's worth leaving a public comment on SERVER-22622 explaining that when queries are eligible for the $lookup pushdown optimization, explain will now show what plan is being used on the inner side. It definitely doesn't solve the much-requested issue tracked by SERVER-22622, but it's a step in the right direction! |
