Add a command to stop/pause application of the oplog entries. Probably best to use a pause model where you give a timeout so it isn't stopped forever accidentally. |

As long as that is the only thing it affects and we clearly document this then that should work. |

You can do fsync+lock to pause all of it, and not sure we want to decouple |
