Can you attach the log file from mongod please?
If you just want to delete everything - your entire database, config, metadata - everything , then assuming you had started mongod with command.

./mongod --dbpath /path/to/data

then you can delete all the files in the /path/to/date dir - that contains all of mongodb's files.
But beware you will lose everything.

Is that what you want?
