 Description

Instead of looping over all collections and call db.foo.stats() it would be great to have a function to retrieve the total number of objects of all collections, the number of collections and probably the netto/brutto (storage) size they consume.

db.stats()?
maybe:

  • # collections
  • total storage size
  • total # objects
  • total data size
  • total index size
