For monitoring MySQL we have a script that checks SHOW SLAVE STATUS and parses the output for the "seconds behind master" value. This is really useful for us to keep tabs on whether replication is working properly, and for us to keep track of any potential latency issues. It would be very helpful if there were some way to get this information from mongo. |
