I know this ticket is closed, but could you please add this information in the documentation? (for example here https://www.mongodb.com/compatibility or here https://www.mongodb.com/docs/manual/administration/production-notes/)

In both places Windows Server 2019 is mentioned, but 2022 is not which could lead to people not using MongoDB (because it is not running on modern OS versions) or not using modern OS versions (because MongoDB does not support them). Both are not ideal situations.

Windows support is determined completely by the runtime library in play, not by the OS version. As long as the version of Windows we use is supported by the MSVS runtime (and in this case it already is), it doesn't matter where we build or run the executables.
