| Description |
|
Knowing the pid of the client is incredibly useful for debugging evergreen failures. It was incredibly helpful and key for BF-23918 was able to be solved as well as many other cases of failures in debug builds. But it would even more useful to have it in all of our patches/builds as that allows you to build a stronger relationship between requests between shards. But right now they are only enabled for debug builds. This should be changed to be added as long as the mongod is in testing mode. |
