| Description |

The goal of this task is to add timers to measure how long it takes to lower a Physical ABT down to an SBE plan. Before starting on this task, we should coordinate with the Abstract Binding Tree project and the Cascades project to ensure we’re consistent with how we use timers across projects. We might also want to look into exporting this metric to Cedar: https://github.com/10gen/dsi/wiki/Reporting-System-Performance-Metrics-to-Cedar |

Timers have not been added to any other phase of the new optimizer, and similar to the MQL->ABT translation, we will be adding google benchmarks for performance information. |
