It also might be a good idea to create a higher level class type, like Catalog, above ViewCatalog and CollectionCatalog and whatever else we eventually make part of the 'catalog' (e.g. sharding catalog). This new Catalog (or whatever) type would contain the concurrency control and the subclasses would be hidden behind it and contain the data structures. |
