The fact that index bounds tightness depends on values in a $type expression makes auto-parameterization harder for queries containing $type expressions. We need to modify query planner encoding scheme to take it into account to reenable auto-parameterization for $type expressions. |

Removing from the SBE plan cache epic as this work is considered low priority and shouldn't block the release of the new plan cache feature. |
