| Description |
|
There appears to be no wtimeout equivalent for commitQuorum, which in combination with the default value of "votingMembers" can lead to createIndexes commands hanging indefinitely when a voting member is down. It could be useful to have a timeout for this so that users can receive timely + useful error messages instead of hanging. |

If an index build is hanging at this point, the setIndexCommitQuorum can be run and the index build will honor the new commit quorum value. For example, it can be set to a lower value to allow the index to commit. |
