In most cases, the most effective ways to control access and to secure the connection between members of a replica set depend on network-level access control. In fact ,after I enableed authentication, using the keyFile, i found the the servers was much slower? |

maxun, this doesn't appear to be security issue but rather a performance concern so I'm bumping out to the core server project. |

Hi, This doesn't appear to be a security issue, rather performance and so has been raised incorrectly. It's natural that the addition of authentication will impact on performance. There have been issues (with authentication) in the past where the performance was affected was than expected. I recommend that you raise this performance issue on the [MongoDB Google User Group|www.groups.google.com/group/mongodb-user] providing information on -
The issue will then be investigated accordingly. Therefore, I am going to resolve this ticket. Thanks Mark |
