It would be nice if the shell could report back what databases a connection has authenticated to. This could be done internally in the shell, or, if this kind of thing makes sense in drivers too, then maybe there should be a command for querying what authentication tokens are associated with the current connection. This has come up twice in trainings in 2012Q3. |

Is there an existing command for extracting information about a connection to which this functionality could be naturally appended? We could add another command, getConnectionPrivileges, but if there's a getConnectionInfo-y command, or should be, that might be a better direction. |
