Testing enables WT's ability to hold on to more recovery files than necessary for diagnostics. It's currently configured to hold "4 checkpoints" worth of log files. Some tests decrease the checkpoint period to 5 seconds (default 60 seconds). We should instead strive to hold 4 minutes of WT logs for these "fast checkpoint" tests to have parity with default checkpointing cadences. |
