On dropping a collection taking up, say 25GB space, will the deleted storage be reused for new collection creations, provided there is not enough hard disk space on that mongo server??. We tried running reparrDatabase which didn't help. On prototype stage, there will be needs to create collections & drop them several times. |

The space in the database can be reused for other collections within that database. If you have any questions after reading this please ask on the mongodb-user group |
