Currently, background threads like ReplicaSetMonitorWatcher are not being cleaned up properly when an application using a replica set connection terminates, often resulting with an ugly stack trace. |

There should be a driver cleanup function, to pair with the mongo::runGlobalInitializers*() functions introduced on the master branch (2.3.0-pre-), but forcing users to use dbexit(), which terminates the process, is not a strong solution. |
