In evergreen, when an underyling build task error happens, the jobs prints to stdout/stderr at that time, and then other logs continue until scons finally stops. The error messages at the bottom will be just scons forwarding the error code and the build nodes that failed. So the developer must scroll up to find the error information.
We should capture the build tasks output and float it to the bottom for easier error diagnostics. |
