| Description |
|
Since the RecordId for a clustered collection is stored as an underlying KeyString, converting the RecordId to a PreImageId requires parsing the RecordId as a new BSON, and then the new BSON to a ChangeStreamPreImageId. We should investigate if there is a more optimal way to perform the conversion / access the Timestamp of the 'lastRecord' in a PreImagesTruncateMarkers::Marker. |

After getting back the initial performance results, we don't believe this is necessary at this time. |
