After speaking with henrik.edin@mongodb.com neither team has the bandwidth to get to this issue. Since it in the scope it was agreed that the DRC would fix these issues we are going to close this issue. |

The char8_t link in the description is to std::barrier. We already have a check for std::atomic, is std::atomic_ref an additional type we want to ban? |
