There are some cases where tests that use election_handoff.js fail because this checkLog call does not find the log line in question. However, the logs actually do contain the line, the checkLog function somehow missed it. It's possible that during the test the log ran out of space and truncate the line we were looking for. We should instead have the test make use of failpoints to check that the handoff happens as expected. |
