 Description

The documented limit for client metadata is 512 bytes. Due to SERVER-26109, this is only enforced on the mongos. Due to SERVER-26109, the limit was raised to 1024 on mongod. The lower limit of 512 bytes should be enforce on mongod for non-internal clients. The length can be verified after parsing is done in ClientMetadata::tryFinalize.
