 Description

In some workloads where we know the document won't change we're wasting cycles refetching the document to see if the document still passes the given query filter between storage engine snapshots.

Ideally there should be a setting to tune this behaviour internally.

The results of PERF-2090 show that using batched deletes can cause an undesireable increase in latency. As a result we're closing this ticket since there are no expected users for this optimisation.

Marking the ticket as blocked on PERF-2090 since we want to do this if there will be some user of the feature. Otherwise we'll close this as Won't Fix.
