Mongos and mongod both have certain special handling around tenant migration errors (for example, here and here, among other spots). We might have to implement similar logic for the bulk write command. |

This may be a ticket that we re-assign to a serverless project, as bulk write is not expected to support serverless migrations during bulk write. |
