In the interest of making startup warnings (and perhaps other detectable badnesses) very prominent, the shell could print them out at connection time. (There are many nasty details about how this could work with replication and sharding. Good luck.) |

"Server has startup warnings" should be suppressed if there are no warnings. Current message implies that there are warnings w/o listing what they are. |
