| Description |
|
Currently execution control defaults to a 1:1 ratio of read and write tickets, controlled by the throughputProbingReadWriteRatio server parameter. However most read-world workloads a read-dominated, plus read operations in the storage engine will generally be faster than writes. So we should continue tuning this ratio in the direction of reads. |
