 Description

Interruptions may be ignored on this try-catch clause running under the checkMetadataConsistency command.

Interruptions are more likely to happen especially when we are trying to acquire the DDL lock here since it's internally waiting for the step-up process to complete.

Apart from interruptions, the try-catch clause is also skipping other errors that may be thrown by other calls like this or this.

Not an error, the try-catch is not ignoring any exception.
