Currently users need to pass $db as part of the arguments to the set- and removeQuerySettings commands. It would be great if this would not be needed and instead users would pass the namespacestring including the dbname to the command. |

Discussed this with david.storch@mongodb.com and christopher.harris@mongodb.com over Slack. $db attribute is present in the command output as part of the explain as well as slow logs, therefore agreed on requiring users to pass $db as part of the query that users want to set query settings on, as it currently does |
